Ten pocket diaries kept by Private Jenkin Lloyd Jones of Lone Rock, Wisconsin, while serving with the 6th Battery, Wisconsin Light Artillery; also a few miscellaneous items relating to his military service. The processed portion of this collection is summarized above and dates 1862-1865; there are additional accessions, 1888-1917, consisting of nine diaries describing Jones' parish work at All Souls Church, Chicago, and his activities in Tower Hill, Wis.; included in the diaries are newspaper clippings of his articles in Unity, a Chicago-based religious newspaper.
